The Food Storage and Prevention of Infestation Division (FSPID) of the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce invites you to join us in celebrating or 50th anniversary by participating in the National FSPID Essay and Poster Competition with the theme 'Food Safety'. The competition targets third to sixth form students in secondary and high schools. The aim is to provide them with an opportunity to research, express their creativity and explore potential careers in food safety.
 
Each school will be allowed to submit one essay and/or poster. Essays and posters will be judged first at the regional level with the winning essays and posters from each region competing at the national level. Prizes will include trophies, plaques, bursaries, book grants, stationery supplies and farm and garden supplies. Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place winners from each region as well as national winners.
